So today I was asked by an artist I have great respect for why I hadn't tried markers as a media yet, and my answer was that I really wanted to try but I've been having trouble getting started. The reason this came up was that she started out in pencil crayons herself and thought I should start trying my hand at markers, something I've been considering for quite some time now. The only problem was this: how to amass enough colours for a respectable pallet? And she had a fantastic suggestion! So now I want to get started gathering colours to me sooooo badly, it almost hurts!! I resolved to go to Wallack's when I got out of work to peruse their selection of markers (and the one just across the street has a fantastic selection in brands and colours), but... IT WAS CLOSED! DX I was so disappointed that I couldn't start up on getting some markers, even though I'm not currently finished even the sketch of the piece I want to use it on.

By the way, Renalyn, the direction the Deviant ID I'm working on right now is taking is completely your fault . But don't worry. It's a good thing. Twisted girly-girl describes me to a tee... Oh well, I'll have to start getting markers real soon ... between school and work and fieldwork... .
